Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am a Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer (CPCFT), a Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner, and a Small Animal Massage Therapist. For further details regarding my qualifications, please click here.

  • I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of canine companions, including dogs of varying ages (puppies, adults, seniors), sizes (e.g. Chihuahua, Corgi, Border Collie, Labrador Retriever, Great Pyrenees, Irish Wolfhound), and lifestyles (pet dogs, rescue dogs, performance dogs, working dogs). Additionally, I have experience working with dogs that have special needs, such as those who are blind, deaf, or tripawd.

  • YES! We are insured for canine fitness and conditioning, as well as small animal body work (massage + acupressure). Our policy number is #KP103463.

  • All dogs who are recovering from an injury or surgery must provide written veterinarian clearance prior to working with us. In some cases, I work together with their primary veterinarian professionals (e.g., rehabilitation vet, physical therapist) to provide additional help with the dog’s rehabilitation progress. I also work with dogs who have “graduated” from their rehabilitation program to continue their fitness and conditioning progress.

You can find our veterinarian clearance form here.

  • Please note that I am not a licensed veterinarian and therefore, do not possess the qualifications to diagnose or treat any medical conditions or illnesses. If you have concerns regarding your pet's health, I strongly advise you to seek the expertise of a licensed veterinary professional promptly.

  • If I suspect that your dog is injured and/or has other issue(s), I will refer you to your veterinarian and/or other qualified veterinarian professionals (e.g., rehabilitation vet, physical therapist) for additional help. I will document what I saw in detailed written notes, accompanied with photos and/or videos (if available) to help your veterinarian professional determine the best way to assist in your dog's recovery. Your veterinarian professional is also welcomed to contact me for additional information regarding your dog's condition.

  • This is an excellent question! To help make our services more approachable, we offer a FREE phone consultation before scheduling an appointment. This is an opportunity to make sure we are the right fit for your needs. If we are not, I would be happy to suggest other professionals who might be better suited to help you and your pet.

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and impact your scheduled appointment. To accommodate such situations, we offer the flexibility of cancelling or rescheduling at no charge. As a courtesy to our schedule, we kindly request that you provide advance notice in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling.
